During WWII over 120,000 Japanese Americans were removed from the West Coast and incarcerated at ten concentration camps. 13,000 of them were incarcerated at Minidoka. Minidoka National Historic Site and Friends of Minidoka will offer educators opportunities to learn about this history and how it relates to today through new educational films and lesson plans, oral histories, primary resources, and placed-based strategies through an interdisciplinary lens.
